It was just my second year at the Lake Geneva Bridal Showcase.  I was feeling extra spunky and a little ‘slap happy,’ if you will, just coming off two weddings in a row.  Honestly, I almost just wanted to sleep in when my alarm went off at 6am.  Good thing I didn’t since it would be the day I met two gorgeous women.

I spotted these two girls towards the other end of the pier.  They stuck out from the rest.  Stilettos, Packers jerseys, and blonde, gorgeous hair.  SO stunning! I remember them walking by, and me yelling off of the boat how cute they were that day.  I probably wouldn’t have said anything if I wasn’t a little crazy from lack of sleep….BUT wouldn’t ya know it, they had been looking for me!  I tell ya, word of mouth is an incredible thing, and I’m so, so thankful for that…and my sometimes loud mouth.  😉

Fast forward 35 days later (Yes, that’s right…the bride, with some amazing help, had planned this breathtaking wedding in just 35 days), Monica and Brett were married on beautiful Geneva Lake at Abbey Springs.  For not knowing the couple very well before their wedding day, I must say, they are an incredible match and come from some amazing family and friends.

I was so happy I got to be a part of their day, and it will definitely be one to remember…
