I just love when I look back at an engagement session, and I’m right back laughing and having the best time with my couples. I’m going to let you all in on a little secret. Every single image is directed by me. I don’t just expect my couples to know what to do – I mean, it’s not everyday they’re in front of a camera, ya know?  “Walk towards me. Look at one another.  Ok JT, now grab her.” Cue laughter. Got the shot.

It’s my job to make you feel completely comfortable to let loose.  So, while I’m telling you what to do, I’m also giving you opportunities to get that genuine emotion that makes you a couple. I just love my job, and it’s not just the photography – It’s meeting these couples.  I’m being invited into their lives, on the most important day. It’s a big deal that I don’t take lightly.

These two are getting married this weekend at Geneva National, and I can’t wait to do it all over again as husband & wife. Love them.
