I met Brian and Melinda 1 1/2 years ago at the Hawks View Bridal Show. My first bridal show ever, my first couple from a bridal show, and the 1st couple that booked me more than 6 months in advance…heck, more than 1 year in advance! It was when I was starting to realize hard work was paying off, and maybe I really was meant for wedding photography.
Brian and Melinda’s wedding had finally arrived with a beautiful day and a big, beautiful family. I almost made it without crying until Melinda walked down the isle with tears in her eyes… oh, and when that “Remember When” song came on by Alan Jackson, at the reception… seriously, only a few songs make me lose it, and there I was crying behind my camera. I think I’m just going to accept the fact that I’ll always get emotional…and finally learn to wear waterproof mascara!
I hope you love the look back on their wedding day as much as I do…
