I’m not gonna lie, this post took me longer than usual.  Not because of all the gorgeous details, or all of the beautiful pictures of Bobby and Kelli, but because I was more emotionally attached to these images.  You see, I’ve spent a lot of time with this particular couple, and got to know them beyond just a client/photographer relationship.  So, as I was going through these images, it took me right back to the day they were married, and all the emotions that went with it.  Believe me, I wanted to put every single picture of Kelli crying during speeches, of the way her mother looked at her in a way a proud mother looks at her daughter, and her dance with her father as tears streamed down both of their faces.  Such an emotional, beautiful evening.

The details of this wedding were just as amazing.  So many fabulous vendors came together to create something truly special for these two.  It was my first time photographing a wedding at Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, and hopefully I will not see the last of this place… Especially a ceremony on the lake…breathtaking!
