Katie & Jake – Dunham Woods Wedding – Geneva, Illinois Photographer

Where do I start with this one? I met Katie about two years ago. With wedding date changes and photo sessions in between, I was in constant communication with this girl, so naturally I felt a connection. It was a wedding that I had been anticipating from the start.

Katie is an equestrian, so of course she and Jake had their wedding at Dunham Woods Riding Club, on derby day, no less. With hints of dusty blue, and equestrian detail, this wedding is going down as one of my favorites. We even had a day after session so she could have wedding photos with her horse, Tux, since he couldn’t make the actual wedding (photos at the end).

And the way Jake always smiles when he sees Katie, just gets me. It’s so apparent how much love they have for one another. Enjoy the look back…
