I often hear “your photos are so natural,” and “we love how your images aren’t posed.”  Well, let me tell you something.  They are posed.

This is probably your first time being in front of a camera, right?  Something that you definitely don’t do everyday.  I’m here to tell you exactly what to do while getting it to look natural – because your natural emotions come out.

The photo below –

Me – “hey Shea…can you put your hand in your pocket? Jenna squeeze his arm and look at each other.” Cue laughing.  “Jenna can you stand like this?”

2nd photo –

Me – “Now grab her Shea and get really close to her face.  You two are getting married!” Cue huge smiles.

And so on…

I literally tell you what to do the entire session, and the more comfortable you become, the more natural and playful the session becomes, allowing me to capture those genuine emotions. Being comfortable with me is huge and probably the biggest reason I always suggest an engagement session.  We get to know each other more and you’ll know exactly what to expect on your wedding day.
